Learn About Teen Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
-
Does your teen struggle with managing their mood?
-
Do they have few friends or have frequent conflicts in their relationships?
-
Do they have trouble managing life stress?
If yes, then Teen DBT can help.
Teen DBT, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, is a group focused on helping teens that are struggling to manage their emotions and behavior. Teens are able to share experiences with other teens and learn valuable skills to change negative thinking, feeling, and acting. DBT is very skill focused and participants will leave with a "toolbox" full of techniques. These skills will lead to improved relationships, improved behavior and improved ability to cope.
Several cycles of the group have already completed with positive feedback and several success stories.
