About Us
Breast self-examination is a life-saving skill that all women should master. To perform it correctly, you must learn how to do a thorough search. In our effort to help women fight against breast cancer, we offer courses called MammaCare® that teach women the proper techniques of breast self-examination. MammaCare® is the recognized standard for breast examination.
With the guidance of our certified MammaCare-trained specialists you will learn the techniques proven to be the most effective in identifying breast lumps and other breast abnormalities. You will be taught to distinguish between the feel of normal breast tissue and that of typical breast lumps. You will also learn about risk factors for breast cancer including family history. Our courses include individual and group training and practice sessions. Instructors will outline recommendations, based on your age, for regular clinical breast exams and mammograms. Breast self-examination is recommended on a monthly basis for all women.
