About Us
Women at the Well is a grass roots, parish-based ministry led by a core group of women in your parish. The goal of this ecumenical ministry is to enrich and empower women mentally, physically, and spiritually. Bi-monthly meetings include a meal, inspirational speakers and a time for discussion. These lectures and discussions are designed to help you build relationships with women in the parish, inspire you to become an active participant in parish life, and encourage your faith. The program also promotes individual and small group mentoring for additional support toward personal growth.
Interfaith Parish Support Services will assist your parish in setting up this program by providing:
- A coordinator to train a core of women leaders in your parish
- Website support with the necessary materials
- Leads for booking speakers
- Guidance on marketing options and facility logistics
- A liaison that will assist in communication between parishes and help with future services from the Alexian system
A number of workshops are also available to members of the community throughout the year on topics such as conflict resolution, leadership, end-of-life issues and issues that pertain to women.
