Stenting of Post-Radation Carotid Fibrosis and Atherosclerosis
This patient had strokes caused by a blockage of the carotid artery wich was due to his previous radiation to the neck.
Angioplasty and stenting was successful in reopening the vessel.
The subtracted image shows excellent flow, and the patient has had no further strokes or mini-strokes since the angioplasty and stenting procedure.
