Flu Vaccinations

Influenza (the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It usually causes mild to severe illness, but it can also lead to death. Receiving a flu vaccination every year is the best way to prevent this illness. According to the Center for Disease Control, on average 5% to 20% of adults suffer from the flu annually in the United States. This leads to increased rates of absenteeism and lower productivity.

We will come out to your organization to administer the vaccinations.  We use an inactivated vaccine (containing killed virus) that is given with a needle, usually in the arm. The flu shot is approved for use in people older than 6 months, including healthy people and people with chronic medical conditions.
