Alexian Brothers Ophthalmology Services recently established a unique partnership with The Chicago Lighthouse for People who are Blind or Visually Impaired to offer a comprehensive low-vision program based at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. The Chicago Lighthouse at Alexian Brothers is the first Chicago Lighthouse satellite program to offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary low-vision services. The program offers examination by low-vision optometrists, training in low-vision assistive devices, occupational therapy, psychological and social services, driving evaluation and employment services.
