Our Technology

Using the latest computer-imaging technology, the Alexian Breathe Easy Lung Scan is painless, quick, and convenient. While you can expect to be at our imaging center for 20 minutes or so, the scan itself takes less than five minutes. You may also choose to have a free spirometry test after your scan. This quick, simple breathing test evaluates your lung function by measuring airflow into and out of the lungs. It will be reviewed by a board-certified pulmonologist. A board-certified radiologist experienced in the use of the computer technology designed to detect tiny irregularities in the lungs that are too small to be seen on a conventional x-ray, will read your scan.
