Our Services

List of Volunteer Opportunities

• Customer service/guest relations: greeting patients and families at information desks, assisting in waiting room areas, mailrooms, gift shops, and others.
• Clerical/office support: copying, filing, mailing, and assisting with special projects.
• Nursing: assisting patients in wheel chairs, helping nursing staff deliver water and meal trays to patients, and stocking supplies and linens.
• High school students can earn service hours for volunteering or graduation credit when enrolled in a full-semester program.
• High school and college students can gain exposure to the health care profession before committing to a college major or career path by shadowing nurses and physicians in various disciplines, including cardiology, obstetrics, family practice, and internal medicine. Internships are also available.

  Individuals must be a volunteer for a minimum of 3 months prior to participating in nurse or physician shadowing.
